Hi, for the final time,
Don’t worry, it won’t be forever. I just want to wrap up this series with a cute little bow.
On Saturday morning, we packed up the Volvo (sad to see her go) and headed up north to Stockholm.

Mom, Stef, and Coni had already spent a few days in Stockholm but they decided Hayden and I needed to experience it! Plus, Hayden got a taste of a quintessential European city for the first time. I am absolutely OBSESSED with Stockholm and want to come back and explore for at least a week. There are about 40,000 islands in the archipelago, so you can hop on a boat for more adventuring.

We walked around a lot! You simply cannot do a European city without tripling your average daily step count. Honestly, I am so content just walking, observing, and saying “ooohhh look at that” for the 100th time. More pictures of the day below.

For the evening activity, we took a guided tour on a boat. When we purchased the tickets, we were told most of the guides are theatre majors, so it was a 10/10. We even got a Swedish serenade from our guide. Cool guy.

And that was it. Sad girl hours. Definitely am not ready to be hit with US culture again (if you know you know).
I also had my little overnight layover in Iceland. I opted to not do the Blue Lagoon. On top of an expensive hotel room/ taxi, it would have been about $300 with transportation. I want to come back and explore Iceland when I have some more money in the bank (hehehehe). I took myself on a walk and it was BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING, MAGNIFICENT.

I don’t know when I’ll have the opportunity to go on my next travel adventure, but I do know that I’ll make it happen. It is such a privilege to be able to explore the world, and I am eternally grateful for those who have helped make that a reality. I also have so much gratitude for the fabulous people who have added so much to my life along the way.

Love each and every one of you!
Your travel girly,
Mahala
