Hello everybody,
I have a cold!!!!!! YAYAYAY… not.
I finally fell asleep at around 2:00 AM last night. You know when you’re past the point of being tired and just exist in a liminal space? That was/kinda still is me. Unfortunately, I woke up at 7:00 AM. Mahala on 5 hours of sleep is a funny sight to see.
I decided to have a fairly chill morning. I went to read by the beautiful pool at my current hotel. I couldn’t swim because I don’t have any of my swimwear, so the heat got to me quickly.

Did I forget to mention that my bag was still in Seattle when I tracked it after landing in Bangkok? Luckily, they should be delivering it to my hotel tonight.

I decided to spend my day at the Chatuchak Weekend Market. HOLY SHIT. According to my trusty side kick google, it’s among the largest open-air markets in the world. It has more than 15,000 stalls and contains everything from clothing and accessories to pets and electronics. There were endless, narrow rows of items to get lost in. I think I ended up walking in circles for a while.

I somehow ended up in the pet section at one point and passed several stores boasting all different kinds of animals.

After one hour of walking around in my grey shirt (the only shirt I currently have… it’s a great color for humidity), I was drenched with sweat stains. I took it upon myself to find a cute dress and ended up getting some flip-flops, too. I have also found that tennis shoes with socks don’t mesh well with humidity.

My other task of the day was finding a pharmacy to get some cold medicine. I told the pharmacist I was congested, and she immediately handed me some meds from behind the desk. I also found some deodorant, as mine is currently somewhere over the Pacific Ocean (they only had powdered deodorant, which is interesting).

Anyway, I am a very tired bean and am needing to go find some food. I’m still feeling out my vibe when it comes to blogging so bear with me.
Your tired but happy girly,
Mahala
